Takesha Thomas is fighting to stop doctors from ending life support on her 11-month-old son. She told a judge that only God should decide when her son will die.

Doctors at the King's College Hospital said further treatment on her son Isaiah Haastrup will be futile and will not help him improve.
They said he is disabled, but can still feel pain.

Both parent of Isaiah wants the the life support to continue as they believe their son will make sooner than later.

As a firm believer and a Pentecostal Christian, Mrs Thomas said "As I'm concern, I don't think it is right to decide on who or who should not live. The life belongs to God, if he wants to take it, then its fine, he'll take it."
She told the judge: "When i speak to him, he will respond slowly by opening one eye.
"My child is injured. He needs all the love, care and support he can get. I have it and i can give it."
"When i cuddle him and sing to him, he falls asleep in my arms," she said.

A specialist that has been treating Isaiah told the judge that due to his experience and other situation that he handled in the past, people in Isaiah's situation will not improve.
According to him Isaiah is profoundly disabled and that he cannot breathe on his own.

A representative of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, told the judge that the medical reports on Isaiah showed that it would be in his best interest that they stop treatments on him.

The final hearing whether he'll continue in life support or not, will end on Wednesday.
