Rick Ross in life support, currently fighting for his life.

American rapper Rick Ross has reportedly been on life support at a Miami-area hospital fighting for his life.

According to sources close to TMZ, Rick Ross was hooked up to a machine that is performing the functions of his heart and lungs. 

He's currently been attended to in the cardiatric unit in the hospital.

According to Dr Bob, the doctor in charge of the cardiatric unit said, "Rick Ross will be fine, we've ran checks up on him and he'll be fine. We've seen even worst situations than these before and we've been successful, Rick is going to be fine."

Dr Bob also describe the procedure as an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. it's a technique used to oxygenate blood outside his body before it's pumped back into his body.

This latest development has also confirmed an initial report that indicated that the rapper is down with possible Pneumonia after he was found breathing heavy and wasn't responding to signals.

American rapper , P. Diddy, Dj Khaled, Rich Homie Quan, Chris Rock and other celebrities have asked fans and well wishers to pray for the speedy recovery of the MMG boss.
