Jim Iyke reveals reasons why he did not marry Rita Dominic.

Nollywood Actor, Jim Iyke, has revealed his reasons on why he did not marry fellow actress, Rita Dominic, despite their relationship both onscreen and real-life chemistry.

Jim Iyke who celebrated his 40th birthday few months ago, opened up on his relationship with Rita Dominic in an interview with Broadway TV.

When asked while on his relationship with the actress, the father of one revealed that he had no intentions of settling down with the award winning actress because they are both in the same profession among other reasons.

He said,"I met Rita at the breakthrough of my career that was like the moment i was getting popular in acting and the comfort that came with it.

The laurels, the distraction and even the destruction. And Rita is not the kind of woman that will be willing to wait. We were very close to each other. We are still close friends, though we don't speak often. As a matter of fact, it may surprise you that we haven't spoken to each other for the past two years.

"But when whenever we meet, we are cordial and respectful.Tnere is that special thing of a man or woman you've shared something with.

"In my opinion, I don't think Rita at that time was looking at a future with me,to be sincere. Don't forget, i was the kid with the crazy Afro, ready to pick up a fight with anyone anywhere. My life was about having a good time and as many conquests as possible," Jim Iyke said.

The pair have been romantically linked in the past and the reason is not far fetched. Both at their prime back in the days,they had great bonding on and off the screen and were often potrayed as lovers back in the days.

Jim Iyke has a son, Harvey, with a Lithuanian law graduate, Dana Kinduryte, back in 2015.
