Neymar is technically the best player in the world - Pele

The ever unending debate of who's the best footballer in the world right now between lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo is even more stronger than ever.

For the past 11 years, the pair have thrilled the fans with magical skills and breathe taking goals.

They've both dominated the football game securing the same numbers of ballon d'or and breaking every record that was set by previous stars.

With both playes now in their 30's, Lionel Messi 30 and his arch rival Cristiano Ronaldo 32, talks has now focused on who will be the new star to break the duopoly that began over a decade ago.

Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain's super star, Neymar has been touted as the most suitable and capable player to break the duo's dominance.

Other contenders are Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne, Chelsea's Eden Hazard, Paris Saint-Germain Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona's Dembele.

Neymar has finished third in the Ballon d'or race twice and has been the danger man for PSG since his world record fee from Barcelona as the most expensive player in the world.

He has 19 goals and 12 assist to his name in just 19 games in Ligue 1.

However, Brazilian football legend, Pele has placed Neymar ahead of Messi and Ronaldo in one key way, in his opinion, he thinks Neymar is the best technical player in the world.

According to him "Neymar has changed the way he plays with the national team," Pele told FIFA's official website.

"At his club side, he was playing as a left sided attacker, while for brazil he plays more centrally, and as a more traditional No. 10. Even though its hard, he has managed to adapt his game".

"If you look around the world of football right now, the best are without a doubt Messi,Ronaldo and Neymar. There are no other superstars. The most important thing is for the national team to be well organised as a family because unlike before, they no longer have three to four top players in each position".

"The same is true for Germany, who were more of a team with collective players. But it was changed as nowadays they're more as a team which has changed their style of play and helped them to be successful in the last world cup".

"Neymar is ready. He might find that the tactical switch from his club to the national team isn't straightforward, but he his brazil's star player.

"He has to be prepared for that. For me, technically,he is already the best player in the world. I'm sure of that."

Very few people will agree to this, especially with Messi still at the peak of performance for both club and country. Neymar is a fantastic player, no doubt about that, but with Messi still around and Ronaldo still doing his thing, it's a long way to go for the Brazilian.
