Yusuf Buhari arrives Nigeria after a successful medical operation.

The first lady, Aisha Buhari,has expressed profound gratitude to Nigerians for the successful operation on her son, Yusuf Buhari, from medical treatment in Germany after sustaining injury on his head in a motor-bike accident in the country's capital, Abuja.

Aisha Buhari, could'nt hold back her appreciation on her Twitter handle on Thursday in Abuja, said that the Buhari family are grateful to all Nigerians for their constant well wishes and prayer for the recovery of her son Yusuf Buhari.

" We thank the Almighty God for the safe return of our son Yusuf today after his medical operation in Germany.

" On behalf of my family I wish to our gratitude for the goodwill and prayers since the ghastly accident our son was involved in.

" It is my prayer that the Almighty God bless, protect and guide us all in the right direction," she tweeted.

Yusuf Buhari arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport,Abuja at the early hours of thursday.

He was was accompanied by the personal physician of his mother, His elder sister Halima Buhari and other members of the family.

According to NAN, Yusuf Buhari was received at the presidential villa in Abuja by his parents, President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife Aisha, Minister of interior Abdulrahman Danbazau, Governor of Kogi State Yahaya Bello, Minister of State for health, Osagie Ohineri, and other associate of the family.
