Aliko Dangote blames unemployment as the cause of increase in terror activities.



Popular businessman and Africa's Richest man, Aliko Dangote  has condemned the killings of Nigerians by the Fulani Herdsmen.

In an interview with channels tv, Aliko Dangote said unemployment is the main cause and is largely responsible for the the killings and restiveness being experienced in many parts of Nigeria. He said, gainfully employed persons can never be behind the attack and killings that has being happening recently.

"If there are jobs, there wouldn't be anything like Boko Haram, there would not be anything like herdsmen. Once you are engaged, once you're employed, you won't have the time to engage yourself in terror activities, " he said.

Well, "like the saying goes, a idle mind is the devil's workshop", Mr Dangote has a point, unemployment has made lots of Nigerian youths participate in various criminal act.

Though the Federal Government has map out plans to reduce the rate of unemployment, the rate of unemployment hasn't reduced. If we must fight crime, we must first reduced unemployment rate in the country.
