Chelsea dumped Leicester City out of FA Cup.
Nigeria super star,Victor Moses emerged victorious on Sunday night over his fellow countrymen, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, as Chelsea beat Leicester City 2-1 to qualify for the semifinal of the Emirates FA Cup after they were dumped out of the champions league by Barcelona on Wednesday night.
The Nigerian super stars were all in the starting lineup for their teams for Sunday’s crucial quarterfinal contest at the King Power Stadium. Moses and Ndidi played the whole 90th minutes but Kelechi Iheanacho was subbed off for Okazaki in the 68th minute.
Pedro kept Chelsea’s hope for a silverware alive with an extra-time header after a 1-1 draw forced the game into extra time as Antonio Conte’s men overcame a tough-tackling Leicester City to reach the FA Cup semifinals.
Pedro came in for Willian at the beginning of extra time,and completed a 2-1 victory for Chelsea with his goal in the 105th minute.
Alvaro Morata put Chelsea in the driving seat with a sublime goal in the first-half , but Jamie Vardy levelled the scoreline after the interval with a close-range strike.
With the win recorded by Chelsea, they will face Southampton in the semifinal at Wembley while Manchester United will confront Tottenham Hotspur in the other semifinal contest.
