Fans troll Allison for his slip against Leicester.

Liverpool's new record signing goalkeeper has been taunted on social media following his mistake that  led former Premier League Champions back into Saturday’s Premier League match.

After Loris Karius’ double calamity in the Champions League final defeat against Real Madrid in June, the Liverpool goalkeeper has found himself red-faced following a horrible mistake.

Alisson was signed by Jurgen Klopp’s side in the summer in the hope he would provide more reliable cover in goal, with his record transfer fee of £67m ($84m) – then a world record for a shot-stopper – reflecting how much the Anfield side valued him.

The former Roma goalie compounded Virgil van Dijk’s miserable back-pass with a casual attempt at turning away from substitute Kelechi Iheanacho, who pounced on him and squared the ball for Ghezzal to open his Premier League account.

The mistake however, wasn't too costly, as the merseyside stole a comfortable 2-1 victory in the end.
