Real Madrid welcomed arch rivals Athletico Madrid to the Santiago Bernabeu in their Sunday fixture in the league.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale led the front line for Zinedane Zidane's men on Sunday, while Antoine Greizmann led the attack for Athletico Madrid.

The first half ended in a goal less draw. But in the second half Ronaldo broke the deadlock as he scored the first goal in the game after a fine assist from Gareth Bale. Few minutes later Griezmann equalized and it ended 1-1 at full time.

The draw saw Real Madrid fall back to the fourth position as Athletico Madrid remained in the second position.

In the premier league, Chelsea drew 1-1 with West Ham in Stanford bridge.
Chelsea defender, Azpilicueta opened the score sheet for Chelsea in the first half which happened to be Chelsea's first goal of the game. In the second half, former Manchester united striker,  Chicharito, came from the bench as he equalized to earn the Londoners a point in full time.

Arsenal scored three as  they beat Southampton 3-2 in full time. Two goals from Danny Welbeck and one from summer signing Pierre-Emeric-Aubameyang, gave the London side the three points.

Cardi B and Offset are expecting a baby together.

Following the steps of Beyonce, Cardi b is expecting a child with her fiance Offset.

She revealed her pregnancy bump to the world, during her performance on Saturday Night Live wearing a bodycon white gown. The show  was hosted by Black Panther 's Chadwick Boseman.

The two love birds officially began a romantic relationship in early 2017 when they attended the Super Bowl together. October last year, Offset popped the question in front of a sold-out crowd in Philadelphia. Of course, Cardi couldn't say no to the enormous, 8-carat diamond ring he proposed with!

Six months later, they're expecting a baby together. She also confirmed that the pregnancy will be due in July.
This will be Cardi's first ever child, but Offset have three kids from separate relationships.

There was rumor of Offset cheating on her sometime ago, but Cardi rebuffed those news and said she wants to work it out with Offset.

She said in the interview,  "I know I look good. I know I'm rich, I know I'm talented. I mean I could get any man I want—any basketball player, football player,rapper,actor. But, I want to work out my this out with my man, and I have no point to prove to y'all."

In previous interviews, Cardi have always said he wants a family just like every other women.

Cardi b dropped her first studio album "Invasion Of Privacy "last week, and it went gold few hours after it was released. Making her the first female artist who's album went gold in hours.

Title celebration paused as Manchester united came from two goals down and defeated Manchester city.

Manchester was red on Saturday as the two Manchester's clashed in a much anticipated fixture. The fierce rivalry between two coaches and two clubs, locked horns in their league encounter.

Manchester City needed a win to be crowned champions but Manchester United had other plans. It was a dramatic 90 minute as the red devils came from 2 goals as they defeated the shark team 3-2 at the end of full time.

Two goals form Paul Pogba and Chris Smalling, completed the come back for Jose Mourinho's men.
It all looked like the title race ended in the first half as Manchester City scored two in the first 45 minute of the game.

Vincent Kompany scored the first goal for City as he nods home with a beautiful cross from Sane in the 25th minute.
Raheem Sterling assisted Gundogan with the second in the 30th minute.

It looked done and dusted as the first half came to an end. The fireworks began in the second half as Pogba scored two within 2 minutes with assists from Herrera and Sanchez to make it 2-2.
Chris Smalling completed the come back for the devils in the 69th minutes with a nice pass from Sanchez.

It's the second lost of the season to the shark team and the second lost in a week as they lost the first leg of their UCL tie against Liverpool in midweek.

The lost mean Manchester City will have to run their next league game before they'll be crowned champions of England.

They'll square up at home against Liverpool for the second leg of their UCL tie, with Liverpool firmly on the driving seat.

Bayern Munich win Bundesliga title for the 7th season in a row.

Bayern Munich were crowned bundesliga champions for the seventh successive season as they only needed a win against Augburg in their Saturday's league match to be crowned champions.

The Bavarians defeated Augsburg 4-1 as they clinched the title for seven seasons in a roll. They've been the most dominant team in the league for the past decades.

Goals from Tolisso, Robben, Rodriguez and Wagner, made sure the early celebrations were not paused till the next fixture. The only goal  for Augsburg in the game was an own goal by Bayern Defender, Sule.

They proved unstoppable following last week's 6-0 demolition of Borrussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena. It was 5-0 in the first 45 as the away side were no more a worthy opponent as they used to be.

There were lot's of changes in the starting lineup as summer signings Dembele, Coutinho and Semedo were included in the starting eleven.

SEMEDO IN THE LEFT BACK POSITION.
There was a tactical change in the position of the defender as he played in an unfamiliar position as a left back. Naturally for Semedo is the right back position, but for tactical reasons he was placed in that position and Sergi Roberto played in the right back position as Jordi Alba started from the bench.

DEMBELE AND COUTINHO STARTS.
Both new signings were included in the line up, and they both provided an assist in the game. Coutinho played the whole 90 minute but Dembele was substituted for Denis Suarez in the 87th minute, shortly after assisting Messi for his third in the night.

A lady has taken to the internet as she shares the painful experience of her fiance who abandoned her and travel out of the country with his side chick when he found out she's 4-weeks  pregnant for him.

Bisiola, as her name implies, narrated the whole saga on her Facebook account as she seeks for people's advice on how what to do.

According to her story, they've been dating for 4-years and they already have plans to tie the knot by September this year. She said plans were already on ground for the official introduction  by August this year, but as soon as Ola ( The Fiance )  heard of her pregnancy, he started putting up some strange attitude. She got to find out of his disappearance from one of his friend..

Somebody please tell me this is some kind of dream because I still can't believe what my ear heard. Someone please pinch me, and tell me it's all a joke. After dating for four years, i got dumped with my 4-weeks pregnancy, not only dumping me, but he choose a side chick over me, even after the knowledge of my pregnancy, I have done nothing to deserve this.

I and my fiance were already on marriage mood, we even fixed a date for our introduction in August and the wedding in September but currently it seems none of that is going to hold because I'm left alone. Ever since i told him of the pregnancy, he started acting strange, asking me question on who is responsible for the pregnancy and also accusing me of infidelity. I tried to calm down and try to understand what was actually going on because for four years i haven't been that shocked in my relationship. He told me he is not the father of that child and that he won't be responsible for it. He said a lot of things that no one has ever said to me, he rained insults on me to the extend i had to involve my pastor to know if something went wrong spiritually. I tried to talk to him but he wasn't interested. I went to his family to inform them on what happened, they promise to talk to him, but i didn't get any feedback even after his disappearance.

All through the years we were dating, i never knew he had a side chick or a mistress somewhere, not until now. I really don't know where it all went wrong, the printing press called me to know if they should start the design on our wedding cards, I'm really confused and for me, aborting this child is not an option for me. Someone please advice me on what to do.

One of America's biggest comic actor, Kevin Hart recently trolled fellow actor and former WWE wrestler, Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as The Rock, over a picture he posted on his Instagram handle as the wrestler was seen holding the mouth of a crocodile.

The picture drew lots of attention from his followers as a lot of people who dropped their comments on the post find it very frightening for him to play with such a dangerous animal. In the picture, The Rock was seen sitting on the crocodile and holding tight it's mouth with his bare hands which cause Kevin Hart's response.

After sharing the picture, The Rock wrote:

SEVEN IMPORTANT RULES FOR A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP.

There's no Almighty formula for successful relationships, But these rules will keep you in the right direction. 

They're too many failed  relationships today, based on some little disagreement, few misunderstanding and a whole lots of excuses you'll hear from victims of broken relationships.

The truth is, THERE IS NO PERFECT RELATIONSHIP. All successful relationships you hear of today, were at on point close to been broken up.

Success stories in relationship didn't come from nothing, it didn't just happened, the couples where not 100% perfect, it took understanding and cooperate efforts by the couples, to make something out of it.

I've heard people give too many complains about their partner, like "he or she isn't perfect for me", we're not meant to be, and all that stuff.
Not meant to be is quite understandable, but not perfect for me isn't, because nobody is perfect for anybody. If you seek perfection before going into a relationship, you'll be single forever or you'll find yourself jumping from one relationship to another, with the same issues you had in your previous relationships.

A lady once said to me, "I've found the perfect one for me, he's everything I ever wished for", few months later, she called and said, " I don't think this will work". It won't work if y'all don't want it to work.
Cooperate efforts = successful relationship. It takes two to make one.

The question most people ask is, What can be done?.
A whole lot can be done to keep things going on fine. That's why I compiled these four (7) rules for a successful relationship. And my number one on this list is

Love
Yes, love.
Not loving the person for what they have, but for who they are. Love is the only tool that'll help your relationship stand firm in perilous times.
The beginning of most love stories are rosy and all good, but as time goes on you're definitely gonna hear side talks and all that negative stuff about your partner, some you've never heard before, be it true or false, but you shouldn't allow these talks jeopardize the love you have for your partner. Y'all have to give love to have love. Love is the number one rule.

TRUST
A relationship where there's no trust is a waste of time, you won't have peace in your relationship if there's no trust.
Love could be the heart of a relationship, but trust is the back bone.
Don't involve yourself in fishy activities that will jeopardize the trust and honesty your partner have for you.

Most trust issues in relationships comes from  (side talks) what you've heard, and if you pay too much attention to side talks, you might blame yourself in the end, especially when they're only rumors.

One sad thing about trust is that it doesn't ends when a relationship ends, even when you've moved on from a failed relationship, you're still going to have some atom of trust issues in you, based on past experiences.

The question most people ask is " if it's possible to build trust again in a relationship even after a series of questionable behavior by their partner?  The answer is yes. (Based on cooperate efforts). I won't sugar coat it, because its going to be hard but not impossible.

How can we build trust again?  Y'all need to talk. Which leads me to the third rule

TALK
to build trust again, y'all have to talk! Yes, y'all have to talk about everything.
Don't just sit there and imagine stuffs in your head.
(a) Don't ask yourself questions that you suppose to ask your partners, you can't answer for them.
(b)  Don't ask your friends questions that you're suppose to ask your partner, they'll always have something to say.
You have to ask the right questions to get the right answers.
Accumulating scenarios and false thought in your head will hurt your feelings and Chances of keeping your relationship will be very slim.
When you talk, you don't only have the right answers, but you're also aware of what is going on with your partner.

Most people believe too much on their instincts, and as human, we can never be right at all times. Like the saying goes, " if you always have to be right, you're wrong".
Don't just dive into conclusion when you hear something about your partner... Talk about it.

Spend time together 

To understand your partner more and more, there is no other rule, but to spend time with them.
When you spend time with them, you'll be aware of whatever is bothering them and how to help them, that'll keep the relationship on the right track you'll understand them a lot.

BE CONCERN ABOUT THE FUTURE 
There's lot of things you could do to waste time than to be in a pointless relationship.
Let the future be the priority. You better start planning ahead now. What are the goals and objective, what is there to archive, make plans for the future.
Where you are now, isn't where you're going to be seven years from now. So support their plans as well as yours.

Let bygone be bygone.

Dissolve my marriage now! - Woman begs court after she found out her husband was defiling their 11-year old maid.

A married man was dragged to court by his wife because she caught him sexually abusing their 11-years old housemaid.

Esther, a well established business woman who owns a eatery in Kogi State,  reported the case to the state police concerning the sexual abuse against her husband before the matter was taken to court.

While in the court, the lady laid the complaint against her husband.

Esther: I heard of the sexual abuse on my housemaid from my neighbor who the housemaid confided in because she was afraid that if she told me, I will not believe her because of the trust i have for my husband. My neighbor who is the closest to me in the yard, told me everything  the maid told her against my husband and how he has been abusing her for over a month. I find it very difficult to comprehend because i can't recall the last time i denied him of sex. So i booked an appointment with the doctor and I took my maid and my neighbor along with me. After the medical check ups, the doctor confirmed to me that, indeed my husband is guilty.

I left my maid in the care of the doctor for people treatment and i drove back home to confront my husband concerning the whole saga.

I confronted him concerning the whole issue, and without any atom of fear or remorse, he told me the maid is of age for sexual inter course though he didn't have any with her, that he was only trying to teach her on the essence of true relationship values. I was very angry, i broke down in tears and i really don't know how to feel about everything. I contacted our families and I've told them about the issue on ground and for me this is the end of the road.

Her husband Peter was asked to confirm if the allegations laid against him were true.

Peter: Just like i told my wife, i have nothing else to add. I didn't have sexual affairs with an 11 year old, i confided in my wife concerning the truth and I thought she believed me, I'm very surprised she brought me here to tarnish my reputation, I didn't do it and that's the truth.

Peter further pleaded with the court to save his marriage and that he is not interested in a divorce.

The case was adjourned to be reviewed on the 30th of April, 2018 so the maid and the neighbor will come and give the court more fact on the case before the offender will be judged accordingly.

Mr Peter will remain on house arrest until that time.

Davido celebrates the two year anniversary of his DMW label.

Nigeria music sensation, Davido, is celebrating the 2nd anniversary of his Davido Music Wordwide (DMW) record label.

The superstar musical artist shared the news on his Instagram handle as he tagged all 17 artist including his music producers who have given more fame to the label through their hard work.

Mayorkun is the most popular artist in the label following his back to back hits song ever since he was discovered by Davido two years ago.

Davido and Mayorkun dropped a new song "BoBo" in march, and it has reached a million views on YouTube since the visuals of the song were released.

The whole DMW act did a sing "Answer Prayer" in 2017 and that song topped the charts for weeks which goes a long way to explain the debts in talent the record label have.

AY almost engaged in physical combat with his younger brother over show tickets.

The rumors spreading fast right now around the Nigerian entertainment industry is concerning a family feud between Comedian Ay and his younger brother Lanre.

News have it that the two blood brothers was almost involved in a physical combat before the show.
Most celebrities who were present at the seen have paid deaf ears to this and they don't even want to speak on the issue  online or even wanting to be quoted in this report because of the people involved.

A very reliable source in the industry who were at the scene of the strong exchange of words at the just concluded AY live that was held on Easter Sunday, the brothers “Ayo Makun (AY) and his younger brother Lanre Makun were almost involved in a serious fight before the event and it wasn’t resolved until the event was over".

Why we increased train fares - Rotimi Amaeci gives hilarious response. (Details)

The former Governor of Rivers State and now minister for transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has addressed the recent development in the increase in  train fares between Kaduna and Abuja.

According to him, the increase in the prices was because majority of those transporting through the railway service are rich.
The minister said this on Thursday at the 3rd edition of the Kaduna Investment Summit.

Rotimi Amaechi also stressed that the intention of the president towards the railway was to transport poor people and low economic class.
“there have been questions on why we increased the train fare between Kaduna and Abuja,” he said during his address at the summit.
“For each locomotive, we spend exactly 56 million naira, when we were charging each passenger N600, we were getting N16 million so all you rich men, we were dashing you N40 million per month. Surprisingly to us, very few poor men transport through those trains. The actual intentions of the Mr. President was to allow us to move poor people from Kaduna to Abuja. For instance If you go to Rigasa, you will see the wealthy men pack their cars and use the railway and chase away the poor people who were suppose to be the original beneficiaries.
“So since it’s the upper economy class that use the railway, we unanimously decided to increase the prices. You know what it’s called in the dictionary term— appropriate pricing. So we price according to your class but it does not affect our subsidy, we still subsidise the railway.”
The minister of transportation also encouraged people to continue holding government responsible and making government accountable saying when locomotives are faulty, he is the first to know.
“What amaze me about the social media is that anytime there is an issue with the railway, the first person to know is me,” he said.
“I see all a lot of videos and I ask people if they realise that I am the minister for transport not the managing director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation so It's not within my office to run the railways.
“In time past, none of you can send a video to a minister but now you send me those videos, it didn't end there, you also instruct me on what to do. I urge you to continue in that light and hold us responsible and accountable to you.”

Waste recycling and management is one of the biggest and major challenges confronting many African countries.
The ability to recycle waste into something more productive has been a uphill task in the Africa continent.

Also the issue of collection, management and disposal of solid waste still features highly in major towns and cities across the region. Efforts have been made but to no avail as to correctly manage waste disposal and this has often led to flooding and the outbreak of diseases.

For the past 50 years in Ethiopia, its largest waste dump Koshe was home to hundreds of people who invade the bin to collect and resell rubbish trucked in from around the capital Addis Ababa. Tragic death was recorded last year when it killed about 114 people, demanding the government to rethink an alternative use for the dump site which is said to be as large as the size of 36 football pitches.
The country has since then innovated a new strategy to recycle the waste as it turned the site into a new waste-to-energy plant via the Reppie Waste-to-Energy Project which is the first of waste-to-energy recycling in the Africa continent. This idea forms part of the efforts to revolutionize and recycle waste management practices in the country.
The plant, which was expected to begin it's recycling operation in January, will incinerate 1,400 tons of waste on a daily basis. This amounts to about 80 percent of the city’s waste generation. The waste-to-energy plant will also supply the people of Ethiopia with 30 percent of their household electricity needs.
“The Reppie project is just one of Ethiopia’s major and broader strategy to address waste management and pollution and also to embrace renewable energy across all sectors of the economy. We hope that Reppie will serve as a model for other African countries in the continent , and around the world,” Zerubabel Getachew, Ethiopia’s deputy permanent representative to the United Nations said in Nairobi Kenya last year.
The waste-to-energy incineration plant will heat up the waste in a combustion chamber. The heat produced will be used to boil water until it turns to steam, which drives a turbine generator that produces electricity.
The waste-to-energy incineration is also vital for cities where there is short supply of land, as apart from generating electricity, space will be saved and there will be a substantial prevention to curb the release of toxic chemicals into groundwater, and reduction in the release of the greenhouse gas – methane – into the atmosphere.

The project and the construction of the Reppie plant operates within the emissions and it measures up to the standards of the European Union, as it contributes towards alleviating air pollution.
Waste-to-energy plants are already popular and already been used in Europe, as nearly 25 percent of municipal waste is incinerated.
In France for instance, there are about 126 waste-to-energy plants, with Germany having 121 and Italy having 40.
The Reppie plant in Addis Ababa is as a result of the Government of Ethiopia partnership and a consortium with international companies: Cambridge Industries Limited (Singapore), China National Electric Engineering and Ramboll, a Danish engineering firm. The consortium is hoping that there will be more of such projects in major cities across Africa.

Upcoming Nigerian artist, Alizee shot dead alongside her 4-year old daughter by her Italian husband.

Upcoming Nigerian artist, Ali Zainab Nielsen popularly known as Alizee is dead.

According to report, she was murdered at the early hours of April 5th along with her 4- year old daughter by he Italian husband, Peter Nielsen at their home in Banana Island, Lagos.

Confirming her sudden death  was a member of her management team who reported that:
"It's really surprising and shocking that our artist is no more. We all are saddened by this terrible development of her unfortunate death this morning and to find out that the homicide was committed by her husband makes it more terrible and sad. We've contacted the police and they've began the interrogations and we're going to share more details as we get them".

The circumstances that led to her death are yet to be revealed but reports confirmed that the body of the singer and her daughter have been deposited at a mortuary as the police continues with their investigation.
